It was also valentines day this week and we did do a little celebrating.
We went to La Belle Helene for a much too indulgent lunch 🍔 followed by WAIT FOR IT another match from Gotcha Matcha a n d a homemade ube cinnamon roll. All of this before 12:30.
then we walked down Tryon carved our name in some ice saw an all gold cupid and recieved some free roses. CUTE!
PRO TIP: Have your Instagram boyfriend or whatever version you have take a video of you instead of trying to take your photo (cause they are terrible at taking pictures and you are awful at posing). Then, you can take screenshots of the (few) good moments.

We ended our valentines at the adults-only night at the science center, where we watched couples dissect a real animal heart, explored a Jane Goodall exhibit, took a journey to Mars in the planetarium, and ended the night with a fire show?
oh yeah these pretty babies showed up as well.
LAST but certainly not least I finally made it to Re-clectic. Jamie and I spent 4 hours in that store lol. We stumbled into a food hall that was nestled between the best buy outlet and guitar center (did you know they still had those?) Anywho for the surprise of my life it was an all Asian food hall with every type of Asian cuisine you could want. I have Filipino and Jamie had Japanese. AND and and A N D ANDDDDDD they had Mochi donuts. Girl I have not seen these in Charlotte YET and I have looked. I have looked! How could these two amazing things be so close together? Blessed.
